SOURCE OF PROTEIN
High-quality protein
We use cricket protein because it provides the same nutritional value as meat but with a much lower impact on our environment. Crickets need fewer natural resources than traditional livestock and they produce 100x less greenhouse gasses than cattle. They are the perfect complement to plants. Cricket powder carries all essential amino acids, vitamin B12, calcium, and bioavailable iron. These nutrients are often low or missing from a plant-based diet.

Sens crackers were named crackers only because they are crunchy and salty. They push the boundaries of what’s expected from crackers in every other way imaginable.. They are full of seeds, dried vegetables, and quality cricket protein with no simple carbs or gluten. Our crackers are neither baked nor fried, we gently dry them in hot air instead.
You will be surprised! Their delicious and real flavour comes from the ingredients themselves - a mix of seeds, vegetables and various spices. You can enjoy them as they are or combined with various spreads. We heard they also pair well with wine! PS: cricket protein adds a nutritious boost without affecting the flavour of our crackers
First of all - no gluten, period. We dry seeds and vegetables with hot air to create a crunchy structure. Carefully selected spices bring out the rich savoury flavour. Cricket flour then adds protein, healthy fats, chitin fibre, and a lot of micronutrients. Maximal savoury, minimal gluten
I was curious about the crackers, because usually products like that are not very tasteful (if the producer is serious about their general composition. So you are kinda used eating something that is not very exciting, but you probably want to achieve something in a gym or on a track... so, that's life. I started with the Black Olives, because I like olives and I was immediately surprised how well the taste was worked out. There is an interesting brittleness about the crackers, which probably not everyone will like, but I do, because it actually helps me not to eat up the entire cracker box in 3 minutes. Because I'm originally from Czechia and that's how we usually eat. Many of these Scandinavian type of crackers have the consistency of plywood, but here you would almost have a hard time pulling the entire cracker out of the box undamaged. For me this is a good thing. BTW, I like the other two flavours as well, particularly Oregano/Thyme (but then again I like everything with oregano). I guess people often use crackers like that in combination with cheese or other stuff where the cracker serves as a replacement for bread or toast. I was not tempted to do it here. I find the taste extremely well defined and didn't feel the need to mix it with anything. So this stuff is great while resting under your home-made bouldering wall. Thumb up!

unfortunately wasnt impressed
I love the Sens powder and bars and wanted to love also the crackers but i dont. Im sort of disappointed with the taste of all 3 types, which is of course subjective, but I also dont like how extremely easy they crumble - completely impossible to eat on the go or to put peanut butter on them. While i like that u have 2 per pack which prevents you from binge eating too many this means so much more plastic/paper wasted... Where I live its possible to get better value from grocery stores - same nutritional profile, better taste, better structure.
Good, like them, even though I still don't feel the nutrition value
The problem is that even after eating them with only a bit of cheese and some sauce, I am still thinking to eat something else. I guess the problem is that it takes around 20 min to find out I have eaten enough, so I should start eating them by sticks or one by one:-). But anyway they are fine, mostly taste like whole grain pasta with a bit of lens. Better than some whole grain pasta, I had.
