Crispy worms have a slightly nutty and subtly buttery flavor. Their taste can be easily combined with additional spices depending on the variety. You can eat the worms instead of chips or nuts. You can also sprinkle them over a salad or risotto.

Because they are considered the much-discussed food of the future, worms are an original gift today! But this gift is not just a tasty surprise. Crispy worms are just as good a source of protein as high-quality beef, yet they require 2,000 times less water.

At Sens, we mainly focus on crickets, but at our customers’ request, we created this crispy challenge for the even more adventurous food lovers!

The worms are bred on a farm in a controlled environment. They have plenty of space, since they also live in dense populations in nature. No antibiotics are used in their feed.

Before each harvest, the worms are cooled down, causing them to enter a kind of “winter rest” — similar to insects in nature when they are exposed to cold temperatures in winter.

We consider insect farms to be modern and sustainable agriculture of the future! At Sens, we are also working on developing sustainable cricket farming.

Awesome product. Perfect breakfast base for long days at the crag. Just boil some water for coffee, and the pour the rest of the water into this, and you’re ready for an amazing day outside. Wir haben in einem Workshop zum Thema Lebensmittel & Klimawandel verkostet. Drei der Geschmacksrichtungen waren für all sehr gut zu schmecken, Salz-Karamel war das schwächste. Die Lieferung kam sehr rasch und insgesamt sehr zufriedenstellend!

ziemlich gutes zeug.

als übriggebliebener zirp fan habe den erdnuss zimt riegel probiert. und kann sagen dass dieser eine relativ gute alternative ist. nicht ganz so gut wie die alten apfelstrudel riegel aber das nächst beste.
werde definitiv in ein paar monaten auftstocken.

bin ein übergebliebener zirp fan und probiere gerade das sortiment durch um nachfolger zu haben. die zwei die mich sehr erfreut haben waren erdnuss karamell und schoko banane. der schoko brownie war nicht meins. kann allerdings alle drei zum probieren empfehlen.
