So many of us love the simplicity and joy of pasta dishes yet we avoid them in order to minimize junk food in our diet. Such pity! That’s why we came up with our cricket flour pasta that is gluten free and protein rich. Finally, there’s a way to enjoy pasta without sacrificing nutrition.

What is our cricket flour pasta made of?

Forget refined wheat flour as the number one ingredient. Actually, forget it all together. Our new cricket flour pasta only has two ingredients. It’s 90 % red lentil flour and 10 % cricket flour. That’s how we made sure it’s gluten free, has a lot less carbs and carries a wide variety of essential nutrients like vitamin B12 and heme-iron that regular pasta doesn’t.

It’s a complete meal, not just a side dish

Normally, pasta is considered a side dish and rightfully so. Usually it carries more than 70 g of carbs and around 10 g of protein per 100 g. SENS pasta, on the other hand, packs an impressive 30 g of protein and only 54 g of carbs per 100 g which makes it a complete meal on its own. Just add your favourite sauce, protein is included.

Cricket protein pasta doesn’t just have more protein it also has better protein. Cricket flour contains protein with an ideal amino acid profile and good digestibility, similar to beef for example. But in sharp contrast to factory farmed beef it’s sustainably produced.

Who is cricket flour pasta for?

We made this cricket flour pasta for every pasta lover out there that wants to maximize the nutrition they are getting while also minimize the amount of junk in their diet and harm to our planet. It’s for those that want to include more sustainable protein into their home cooked meals. Pasta doesn’t have to be just for special occasions anymore, it can be a regular healthy part of your diet.
